Sunday Mirror: Grandmother diagnoses mole on her ankle as skin cancer after getting “red warning” from app

Shop boss and gran Nikie Duddridge, 46, from Cannington, Somerset, used her phone to find a dangerous mole.

Here she writes about how she did it – and the “truly frightening time” during her seven weeks off work recovering.

“I’d never really noticed the small mole on the back of my ankle before, as it was difficult for me to see. I had felt a slight lump there and thought maybe I should get it checked at some point but I wasn’t worried.”
